After MUCH searching I have recently found myself a fantastic new seamstress and thankfully she is just as open minded to the very minimal one-sided thong style of swim/tanning/underwear I like to wear as my old one was (God bless her and may she rest in peace!) and is only too willing to replicate some of my old designs for me…… and then some!!!!

After sending her 3 patterns to work from to my surprise just 3 days later a small box arrives with 6 new ‘trial’ suits in it, 2 of each pattern, along with my 3 she is returning.

Her cover letter explained that as these were her first attempt, so really just a ‘trial run’, no payment would be required, adding, if any adjustments were required I should just let her know and she’d make them, then, once I was happy any future suits would be £15 each with free shipping on 3 or more.

Now I’m not kidding when I say all 6 suits she sent me were perfect copies of the ones I’d sent her…..only better quality…..So no wonder they all fitted like a glove!!!! DAMN THIS GIRL WAS GOOD!!!

The idea I’d asked to have these suits custom made and now they’d all turned out perfectly and I was getting them for free didn’t sit well with me, so, as I was CLEARLY going to need at least another 6 of her wonderful creations I emailed my order that evening and paid for all 12!

3 days later another small box arrives but instead of there being 6 suits inside there are 9!!!

The cover letter insisting I needn’t have paid for the first 6, so, as a huge ‘thank you’ she had included 3 freebies, the likes of which I’d most likely never have worn before. These were her tweaked version of the design just for me……

Now I’m not gonna lie the thought 3 of the suits in that box were of a new design I couldn’t sort out its contents quick enough, recognising the 6 I’d ordered by their colour I soon had them put to one side, I’m now left with 3 little plastic bags each containing a suit, the first contains an electric blue one, the second a white one but it’s the third that catch’s my eye, inside is a BRIGHT YELLOW suit, a colour I’ve never worn before so this is the one I for.
On ripping open its bag and pulling it out for inspection I couldn’t quite believe it had been personalised with my initials…..
How’s this for a nice unique detail???
