Thank you so much deusex, and konk500, for your input. Both of my questions are answered.
I'll post a screenshot next time I see the moderation button. But I know now to just ignore it.
And it's good to know how to see who's logged in, and possibly have real-time chats.

You can see the list of who's online under the the Members menu option and then "current visitors" link. You can also see a quick view of who's online on the home page in the right column toward the bottom on a desktop or at the bottom of the homepage on a mobile phone.



I haven't a clue where yo'ure seeing "Select for Moderation". I've tried to find it with my regular member test account and tried uploading photos through the Add Media button both to a Category in the gallery and also to a Personal Album and I can't see it.

Where are you seeing it? How are you going about uploading photos?

Don't feel bad. The site is full-featured and find there's often multiple ways to accomplish everything. I've been managing this new version for over two years and still forget how to do things or where to find things - especially in the admin section. There's so much that isn't intuitive - but as mentioned above, the programmers built it to server multiple purposes so I don't think it could be any other way.

In my opinion, Facebook is worse. And just when you think you've figured Facebook out - they go and "improve" it. Not that I use FB much anymore but still use it a bit to stay connected with certain friends.
