Shaving or waxing ?

Waxed for years, then discovered sugaring - just as thorough as waxing, no heat, no irritation, and the after care is minimal. Instantly velvety smooth...hard to keep my hands off my dick. The trick is finding someone that knows their stuff - I used to spend about a half hour getting waxed that takes me literally 10 minutes at the sugarist.

I initially shaved, I guess we all started there.
I’ve been getting waxed for about 6 years now, it’s a wonderful feeling being completely smooth and “naked”. Over Covid I went back to shaving but never got the all smooth look and feel so I started using a cream called Nair for men, it works great and about A$11 a tube, I get two uses out of it.
I’ve recently bought a home led laser thingy for about A$150 and that’s starting to work really well. I’m finding I don’t need to get waxed too often at all and I don’t shave as much, I’ve even used it on my face.

For you guys who wax how long does the hair have to be for waxing to be effective and get the smoothest results? I’m 72 and still shaving.

You won’t regret it I can assure you ‘pins’…....
NOTHING beats the look or feeling of being 100% totally smooth after being freshly waxed, 2-3 weeks is a small price to pay believe you me….
During COVID I had to revert to shaving again as well and hated it, even with the best razors I could never get that ‘just waxed’ look or feel… within a day I was prickly again,
You’ll be a bit sore and red for a couple of days after your first appointment but it gets easier, the hair that grows back isn’t anywhere near as strong rooted or as thick so comes out easier the next time.
Not only that (for me at least) the look lasts for at least 3 weeks…… Just think, after all these years, no more daily ‘touch ups’ with the razor in the shower! Now that’s got to be worth it!!!
Go for it and enjoy Buddy

One of the guys earlier mentioned sugaring - I recommend trying it. It doesn't sting quite as much as waxing I think because it grabs the hair but not so much the skin.

I used to shave then used Nair (never again) then started waxing till euro wax center started offering Brazilian for men. I bought the wax pass and I was everything from the waist down. Nothing beats waxing unless you spend way more on laser.

I get waxed once every 4-6weeks depending on my schedule. I am not hairy in general but nothing beats the smoothness of being waxed.

I waxed my chest/stomach/arms in June of every year for the beach and takes a while to grow back.

I would never go back to shaving or nair. Waxing is the way to go for me.
